Lake Tahoe Sculpture
This topographically accurate representation of the beautiful landscapes surrounding Lake Tahoe is the product of a delicate process involving both traditional ceramic modalities like mold-making and slip casting, as well as more modern techniques that incorporate mapping and 3D rendering technologies and CNC milling.
The glaze applied to these porcelain pieces reveals unique coloring patterns once fired - mimicking the varying landscapes that surround the water. Epoxy resin with pigments, emulating the infamous “Lake Tahoe Blue” you know and love is carefully poured as the final step in the creation of these one-of-a-kind porcelain sculptures.
Roughly 10.5”L x 6.5”W x 3”H
Materials: porcelain and epoxy resin
Features an enclosed backside with two holes; ready to hang (we recommend a heavy duty hook). Or lay it flat on a coffee table as a beautiful centerpiece
*Limited quantities available. Resin poured to order.
